A Canadian born musician who began his obsession with the guitar in 1977. After transplanting to California, Lindsey’s musical career has been a creative journey from recording artist, studio engineer to producer starting in the mid 1980’s. As a performer and musician, Lindsey is the founder, lead guitarist and front man for his band, “Lynzee”, playing iconic clubs like The Roxy, The Whisky a Go Go and The Troubadour, opening for many of the legendary Hollywood Strip headliners from the Decade of Decadence. Lindsey and his band received recognition for their musical skill having endorsement deals with Charvel / Jackson Guitars, G&L Guitars, Shure Microphones, BBE, Dean Markley to name a few.
Lindsey began collecting guitars in 1981 and after more than 30 years of experience in many facets of the musical landscape, Lindsey brings his years & expertise to Profiles in History’s music division. He is a diehard student recognizing the importance of Rock & Roll history, memorabilia and guitars.
Born and raised in Southern California, Michael received his first guitar as a gift from his parents at six years old; thus beginning his love affair with Music and Musical Instruments. Growing up in Southern California has afforded Michael the opportunity to be at the center of an always evolving and ever changing musical movement.
Knowing the music industry was his calling, Michael received his Associates Degree from Orange Coast College, transferring to California State University at Fullerton to study music and finally graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business / Accounting .
Michael has worked in the industry for twenty five years, not only as a working bass player but in dealing in collectible instruments.
As co-founder of and President of Darknight Entertainment, Michael has had the pleasure of working with many artists as talent and performance management.
