Frank Sinatra’s Personal Custom Tailored Shirt.(1978) Vintage original Nat Wise brand pale blue button-up shirt with white, blue and gray pinstripe pattern, oversized pointed collar, French cuffs, mother-of-pearl buttons, and integral crotch strap with button closure. Retaining internal Nat Wise bias label typed “Frank Sinatra May 1978”, and ink stamp on collar, “SIN-W”. Exhibiting very minor soiling. In vintage fine condition. $500 - $700
309. Alien early concept art. (TCF, 1979) Vintage original fantastic early concept artwork accomplished in artists marker and ink on 17 x 19 in. artists leaf, depicting a possible scene of a woman (likely “Ripley”) walking through a rotating passageway, perhaps to simulate zero gravity in the spaceship, below which appears another sketch of the mechanics of filming within the rotating passageway. Sketch has the following notes, “Cylinder 30’ plus long to rotate”, “Camera rotates with cylinder” and the entrance and exit for the passageway. Artwork is dated 12 March [1977] and signed “Scotty”, likely by Elliot Scott, uncredited on “Alien”, but who served as [roduction designer for two of the Indiana Jones films. Exhibiting fold between the two sketches, overall near fine condition. From the collection of former 20th Century Fox executive Peter Beale, whose COA accompanies the lot. $1,000 - $1,500
