(ca. 1930s-1950s) Orville Goldner (1906-1985) held various positions during the golden age of Hollywood filmmaking including: Art and Technical Director,Technical Director, Designer, Special Effects and Creator of Animated Films on such Hollywood classics as The Most Dangerous Game (1932) and King Kong (1933). During his tenure in the industry, he amassed a world class collection, which included this vintage original archive of (750+) gelatin silver generally 8 x10 in. photographs primarily on single-weight paper. Some photos are trimmed, some retain studio slugs in the lower border and many retain snipes, written info, and ink stamps on the verso.
